yes and it is also a lazy engine the turbo spool's is low in low rev range's and the boost start's from 2000 rpm and on 1KD-FTV the boost start's from 800 rpm

hi.. I own a lj78 lwb 92 with 2lte engine.. recently went up to naran from karachi.. and I experienced the underpowerness of ths engine while going uphill.. though it made all the climbs but like a Bedford truck while moving uphill.
So What was your final action. I have a 2LTE and i am desperately looking for a swap which involves minimum alteration to my 92 LWB LJ78 which is in mint condition.
after the trip , i went for the service and setting of the deisel pump,.,. power came back..
What was the power difference on a scale of 1 - 10 - Did it improve the speed on the highway as well ..........
