You need to take care of one more thing, like on one family member name there were two sims when the fact was she didn't actually have any sims in her possession. we told them to block the sims and remove from the name, they took thumb impression and said they will now be blocked. two days passed and they were still showing on the name. we phoned the regional office helpline and hey said to block sims you need to fill a form only then will they be removed from name.
we again went back to the customer service centre, the guy started drama baazi saying system pay bht load hai it will be blocked in one two weeks. we said who will be responsible in these two weeks if someone is using these sims unauthorised as we dont even have these sims in our possession. after some arguing and talking with manager they finally gave us the form and we filled it and kept a copy for ourselves as proof that we have deactivated these.
its amazing the amount of drama baazi from service centres when turning of sims. be careful and if blocking a no always ask for the form to be filled and check details in the form too, they may try to pull a fast one and fill in the wrong phone nos.
