I got out of my car.
Just as I looked at the meter, he (the filling guy) had already started filling and just in time I caught a glimpse of it being at 300 already (beginning from 300 rather than from zero) before it rapidly moved onto 400 and then 500.... I told him to stop; he didn't, and started arguing.
Thats just the start of the story today. It goes on from there...
In all, Rs2000 worth of fuel was supposed to be filled.
Oh and the fact that the meters' displays are so faded that you couldn't even see them properly if you were standing a car's body-width apart (which is why I stood right next to it and caught them in the act).
Fraudsters are abound. I got pictures of the three men present there. I.A. will be emailing OGRA ombudsman, Total Parco, and Total France if I can get a hand on their email.
Do plan to refer to this thread too.
People have priced their souls at a paltry 300rs (~$3). That in itself is shameless. But when those who can do something about it, and have the responsibility to do something about it, but choose to look the other way, then I guess I can't hold anyone other them responsible for this shamelessness.
