Why not swift? i am thinking to buy one.
immobilizer is useless now days, those cars are stolen more as compare to other, i know you wont believe but thats the reality. only insurance works.
buy installing this you can not b able to start the car without inserting the original key, if you changing ecu then you are able to start the car
swift is awesome, best ever pkdm hatchback.
Strange that Honda(execpt for Civic) and Toyota are still not giving Immobilizers......Even my 10 year old Baleno has one.....i have heard that even ECU based immobilizers can be by-passed but still they are very useful anti-Theft devices as compared to anything available in market....
Hope Corolla 2014(new) would have Immobilizer...
Uptill now the specs I have reviewed of all variants those m****s still are not offering immobilizer...
Sent from my Note 3
I am ok with insurance but that doesn't means immobilizer is useless. And cars with immobilizers are stolen more then others-well I don't agree.(snatching is another case)They can be bypassed but even then, its an arduous job lol. Its not that easy to steal a civic compared to xli.
IMC smashed our hopes. No immobilizer in any variant till now.
Ummm so they must be hi-tech choors...carrying all kind of ECU's with them, or ECU's that can be programmed in less than 1 mins other option is drive around a recovery truck, locate a car, pull the car on the truck, cover the car and go... gone!!!!
It is true that even imobilisers can be bypassed too, heard many cases of mercedes being stolen though it is equipped with a high tec security system. How to steal a car with immobilser.1.Break the glass.2.open the hood and disconnect the battery.3. change the ecu.4.open the key assembly, attach the key paired with the ECU.5.Reconnect the battery.6.Start the Car.7.Car Stolen. So in short nothing is safe, We must put our trust in Allah and In Sha Allah every thing will be safe
True...but the above process would take some time and instead the car lifters would look for easier target...they would not like to waste time on a car that has immobilizer....
depends on what they r looking for.
"Gone in 60 Seconds"
City Aspire has immobilizer. Rest, you can confirm from Honda Atlas by calling them.
Go For Choor Switch
No immobilizer in aspire. At least thats what honda atlas website is saying.
kia insurance walay paisay wapas detay hain gaari chori honay par ?
recently a axio stolen from bharia town isb in 7 mints, cctv footage every thing available its not a difficult job now days. also read Sunday news(jung new) in which they they give info of whole week cars stolen, you ll surprised to know 70% immobilisers cars stolen now days. ppl think immobilisers in our car so our car is save, park out side the home or take less car n thefts take advantage of this thing.
1st they burn the bonnet wire then open bonnet disconnect security alarm n battery then the proses written. + they also have jamer, pipe ranch(to break car switch n automatic staring lock), n complete tool kit.
Brother Baleno also had it.
