Though i donot like the way PML(N) is acting in these troubled times but here is something to ponder on:
We were hit by very harsh sanctions during 1998 after nuclear tests and we stopped recieving aid from japan, common wealther, european union and not to mention US .
At that time PML(N) was in govt and if my facts are correct FOREX more then doubled during those two years(we had a very small economy back then , and even the idiotic decision of freasing forex accounts did not stop the forex growing)
Secondly , during the two sanction years PML(N) goverend we were not hit by an inflation like today , income tax werent revised , dollar/fuel prices had normal inflation , imports didnot cost more and still PML(N) goverened very effictively during those 2 years without any foreign aid(with the exception of UAE).Also motorways were completed swiftly and bigger projects were on their way.
Now , how did we paid back to PML(N) , we celeberated the arrival of pervez musharraf and not many people opposed the army action though at that time it was only power struggle (as gen mush was not happy that Chief of joint staff post has been kept empty and he would be techincally promoted to CJS and some new army chief would be brought in , as PML(N) didnt see him as long time COAS) anyways he started a conflict with INDIA and in the end managed to take over the govt in 1999 where the situation apart from institutional tussle was not remotely volatile/pathetic as compared to today.
Regardless of whom you are going to vote next please do catharsis of yourself and ask whenever some good has happened to this country how have you acknowledged the political parties responsible for it .The Brightest day in my life as a pakistani was 28th may 1998 when i felt really proud and our nation entity was at the peak.
There is also some wrongdoing at our end which has created all this mess
