AOA mates.Noticed that the engine number on my book and excise website is wrong. It says 1NZ-FE whereas the actual engine is 2NZ-FE. Does that pose a problem ? And can I get if corrected ? What will be the procedure ?Thanks.
if the number is the same it shouldnt matter, If its a new car you can probablly get it changed,
-Someone in our family got correction done for owners name on a Suzuki Every Van atleast 3 times due to wrong name all the time.
Only difference is that it says 1 instead of 2. 1nzfe is 1.5 whereas mine is 1.3. It's a 06 model 13 registered.
I would not buy such a car and will ask the owner to sort this out first Ummm what about the annual token tax? are you paying for 1.3 or 1.5?
it does not matter ...if the engine capacity is written 1300 ..then its fine
I am not sure. Will have to ask my father. Btw any idea how much is it for 1.3 and 1.5.EDIT: It's for 1.3.
Yes the capacity is correct.
engine prefix is least important.
the engine number "Digits" & engine capacity in " CC " shall be correct in the regn. book as in actual car.
The digits after 1nzfe, where can they be found on the car ? They are in the book but can't locate them on the car.
Under Exhaust Manifold on Engine Block (as above)
Right. Thankyou will check it out.
If engine no on engine room metal info plate match with engine block I don't see any problem you can get it corrected
Going to check that first thing in the morning. I hope they match otherwise a big problem.
