where are these that you mention, the pictures show a regular W124 chassis with regular model fender arches - the extended flare fenders used in the AMG and the 500E are different part nos. AMG brakes are also huge, 4 piston fixed type calipers at the front (similar to SL500 brakes) - you have float piston caliper type brakes.
btw AMG cars have a unique chassis no. which are not in the same series of the regular production cars. The V8 model of the W124 have different floor pan due to the engine being a bit fat, the steering box and idler arm is also fit lower in the car than a regular 4/5/6 cylinder model.
Just sayin,
e.g. here are the fender flares of the 500E, similar in AMG models
you can see that the fender flares really stick out and make the car look like its on steroids. heres a picture of the body parts cut out
here is a shot of the control arms of the powerful editions of the W124 - the placement of the joint allows lowering the front of th ecar without upsetting camber and also to clear the larger brake discs.
the brakes are larger too as the picture shows below, these are also found on the E320s which had the M104 engine, the left one is found on the older cars with the 4/6 cyl petrol and all diesel models including all 6 cyl diesels.
the AMG brakes are even more beefier.
