I posted sometime earlier that when i suddenly apply the accelerator, the car first slows down n then picks up. the logical explanation i recieved i would like to share...
since my car is automatic, on sudden change of accelerator, the car first determines what gear to shift to so that proper surge can be produced.
Another thing i want to share, i had a return trip to fsd. Alhamdullilah, with five ppl, it drove well. max speed was 147. mileage with one side ac-on 13 km/L appx. avg speed 125km/h. ALHAMDULILLAH.
a day before trip, i changed engine oil. used ZIC oil. oil filter of gaurd (local made) was used. air filter was only cleaned with blower. air filter of the same local company was available, but wasnt looking gr8. i have placed packing of 3/4 " on both front and rear wheels and ground clearence is 95% ok. the mechanic didnt know abt "Throttle body" ( i dont know if its strange or not), so i hope someone here can tell me where it is located and how to clean it. as far as spark plugs, the mechanic told that genuine double-tip plugs are installed which can run upto 40-45k without prob. new double tip plug set would cost around 3000rps(i wonder someone here replaced plugs @1200).since my cars mileage was 29000 as per japanese documents(i hope they r not tampered), i decided to change plugs later on.
now, where is this cat converter located and how to remove it as well? any recommendations abt filters and oil? what speed will provide optimal mileage? with fully loaded car (5 persons sitting), what speed would be recommended, so that engine is not overburdoned?
Finally, my front bumper was loose. the mechanic found that at the ends, the bumper clings with a clump located on headlights. the clump on the right headlight was broken, now what? do i need to change the headlight if i dont want to use 'elfy'???
looking for answers,
take carez all
