So what's my plan of action here:
Am I missing anything?
@xulfiqar has spoken so follow his advise as he is the most techy guy around here.
Scanning your car is a good option nonetheless.
you need to recalibrate the CVT oil pressure and Deceleration/ Acceleration sensor calibration to solve this issue..
you mean start clutch? Because there is no acceleration and deceleration sensor that you speak of?
Hey this is getting confusing. Let me try a few things out and see if they make a difference. Thanks a lot every single one of you!
cvt recalibration? that just takes a minutes if you have the correct scan tool
the name is zero point calibration in Toyota world
yep thats it.
Zero point calibratiion takes only a few minutes, did it on my axio via toyota techstream.
is it safe to use a rotary buffer to de-rust the underbody, looks don't really matter, i want to rubber coat it, but i want it to be rust free
So that's what I gotta do? Zero point calibration?
[QUOTE=Xulfiqar;4408065]you mean start clutch? Because there is no acceleration and deceleration sensor that you speak of?[/QUOTEyup it is zero point calibration if you dont do it and reset the transmission parameters then the acceleration sensor learning error code will pop up . so in my view first he had to reset the transmission setting and then calibrate the CVT Start and zero point calibration on a flat balanced surface to get results.
you don't need to reset. . recalibration does everything
the learn code pops up when you remove the throttle motor and do funky stuff with it like clean it and then pray it works. The ECU fails to see the feedback. Hooked on a TS it will do all the job for you.
had the same problem...scanning showed throttle position sensor error..upon inspection sensor was found ok..infact there was a wire from the cng advancer coming to TPS..once that wire connection was removed everything was ok

usually the CEL wont lit up in the case of Toyota if some idiot open's and clean the TB assy and doesn't need relearning or calibration until some one reset's the transmission setting's from the utility tab in TC.. but in the case of Nissan some one messes with the throttle and the ECU show's the Middle finger along with improper idling as well if it is done improperly without CS.
It will pop up - atta sb - just takes longer.
probably transmission issue, happened with me after getting trans oil changed. I ended up getting half of the transmission replaced.
I think this problem occurs when CVT oil mentioned by toyota for vitz is not used.
I think its something related to ETCS calibration issue instead of transmission problem
no saheb it wont .... i the case of KSP 90 or 91 or SCP 90 or 91 version.
