Maybe you should try better sources. Like toyota japan. A 2015 Passo in Japan costs the consumer around 11.5 lac rupees. So in real terms, Wagon R and Passo are comparable as per your theory.
Coming to your point, yes i agree with it. But then again, like i said, your only argument against it is "old car/New car".
Now coming to the options available to guy who has 11-12 lacs in his pocket. Like the dilema i was in , in July (Keep in mind that suzuki had not reduced price then). I had the option of a 2010 vitz (40000km on odo), 2012 passo (3800km on odo), Wago R (zero meter). I went to test drive the wagon R. Drive was gud, had some issues, nut drive was overall gud. Quality of the car was questionable, gud engine, but body was light and not upto the mark. I mean wagon R ka bonnet utha k dekhlo, typical suzuki. (i was a proud owner of alto and mehru before)
The vitz, old car, probably abused very badly, 4 year old car, simple NO.
Now the passo. 1 year , 3 months old. 3800km on odo, engine spoke for itself. Paint and built quality are a hallmark of these JDMs, New Yokos installed. not even a single scratch, drive comfort and interior we all know so am not going into that. Had some issues with the looks, bt beter than wagon r nd i slowly began liking it. So it was a no contest for me really
