Pointing directly to a 100 year old technology is not fair.
I assume honda 9th gen owners dont drive high, they go "high"
remember Diana died in a Merc!!!
Pal Walker also died in Porsche!!
9th gen stability (with Yokohama tyres) is very stable.
No corrola Honda war, but on GT road start counting the cars who overtake you from wrong side when you are crossing a truck or trolley, 90% would be Corrolas with black "takki" in rear bumper (molla khush rakhay
Corolla
We need a driver education school where they teach us how to handle the car in a crash scenario and most importantly when it loses grip because both these cars tend to let go of their tail very easily in a sharp steering turn.
salute to you sir and a big lol for u
i always admire hondas but seriously 9th gen is disappointing! its more like a glorified corolla! honda always make a venture between sportiness and family sedan like dolphin civic, 2000 civic and reborn but 9th gen is not upto that level! i currently own 7th gen and it also lacks the honda factor, i am not saying that its bad but certainly it does not have very good cornering like 2000 or reborn has got. got my point? no hard feelings! i even noticed that city 2000-2002 had better handling and quality if compared to city expire!
Why apply brakes at sharp turns ? Its against the laws of Physics!
People riding civic are not very civic.
I guess the main reason for the crashing of 9th Gen Civic is the power of 1.8L vs the stability of the car. One can't control the car in curves just by depending on ABS only. PKDM 9th Civic must have included VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) option to stabilize its grip in turns.
Very WELL Said Bro in a Short But Simple Wording!
That Explains Much of the Reason Behind Specific Crashes of 9th Gen!!!
I think few more fatal accidents in this car recently?
Sadly posting another fatal accident near Quetta.
Seriously yar. What is wrong with this model ?? Or is it only we have focused on it ??
High speed turn and maybe someone came during turn in front of the car. This car should have stability control installed
A person died in this.
Not like we focused on it, Its crashing like an XLi. Saw one here in Gujranwala as well myself few months back, The car flipped.
Are they making these things out of recycle tin cans ? how on earth can the sheets be so malleable !! This is ridiculous compared to the high quality metal unibody frames that we get here in north America. This is height of injustice that Pakistanis pay the same price as a north American buyers and gets such crap quality.
Prayers for all the folks who lost their lives in these accidents.
This thread is useless and biased without complete picture and stats. Please go to an insurance company's claim department and you'll get a better picture. These civics represent nothing more than 20 to 30% viz a vis to Corollas of the same period. I have seen much more horrible pics of cars with high performance tires and rims. Believe me when I say this as I deal with this kind of thing everyday. Just my two cents.
Cheers
sheetvic 9th gen tends to lose control and slip from the rear end! *experience show results not at any certain moment but multiple times!
