I am currently using 165/65/R14 in my Daihatsu Storia. I am thinking of changing it to 165/55/R13 Yokohama to improve fuel economy which is very low now i-e 10 km/liter. Is it worth it...will it improve the fuel economy....Plzz suggest...
Fuel average is related to width of tire i.e 165 what you already have,by dropping down wheel size you won't get any improvement and this is the best size to maintain stability being 1000 c.c. car so better stick to it.
use tyre size calculator to find out suitable tyres for your ride. I feel that lowering the tyre size will not help u a great deal. You need proper tuning / cleaning. Maybe your car is four wheel drive?
no..itss two wheel drive...
Yes the mileage will improve as u will be going for smaller rims. 14 is big for this car. Recommended size is 145/80R13
