Thanks for your reply. Will go to plaza shortly.
Update I went to Plaza today and got the brakes dismantled the pads were long gone they had nothing on them and the right side ones were cracked discs had deep grooves and cuts also the CV joint boots were shot and there was no grease it themAlthough the rear ones were fine the rear brakes were serviced and greased accordingly I was sent on the mission to find brake pads searched alot and the closest match found were Toyota Camry for Rs 400then i went to search for pad support clips and luckily found a pack do know if there genuine or not but the packet had Toyota written on it for Rs 800CV joint boots were for 2.4k for all four bootsCV joint grease was for 1k 4 tubesWheel studs and bolts were for 600 for 4ATF,brake oil, other grease miscellaneous expense 1kDiscs were skinned 600Mechanics labour 1500 Most of the noise is gone BUT one still remains
How is the car running now?
Toyota Camry brake pads for Rs. 400 :o
My 2004 GLi OEM brake pads cost Rs. 2,850 for rear and 4,000 for front.
The ones i got weren't OEM they are after-market ones Actually i bought them for testing purpose because no one was sure about the pads fitting will upgrade to better ones if a problem arises
Better than before plus no squeaking/squealing sounds (H)
The condition of pads that were replaced These are the Left ones the right ones didnt have anything on them
I hav same issue in Cultus EFI 07 right side make noise on break and nw i feel vibration on break paddle and break are not good working ........ can any body tell pls how much cost for Cultus EFI front both plates ???
you dont need to replace the plates just get them tooled from a lathe workshop. if they are not tooled earlier and use frixya disc pads. ull see the improvment in brakes and that too noiseless.

First inspect the dics if they have uneven wear and deep scratches/grooves like my cars discs then your brake pads have completed their service life and need replacement and check the discs thickness if they have thickness then get them tooled if not replace them also check for any missing locks, clips plates etc
one local mechanic once used stone type thing and grand them a bit improved but lines still there so they create problem in break pads ..... hw much is Frixya pads cost and its company made ??? pls
i have plan to tool plats and change pads if required
frixya pads are made in korea and price should be around 1000-1200 max. i am using them in my santro and in mehran both working great.
it's the disc, not the pads
you need to go to a lathe machinist to tool the discs
Well theres no squeaking and squealing but since the day i've bought the car there is one particular sound the brakes are making
Should i only tool the discs cause pads also have lines can they tool pads and disc both or i need to change good pads again
get new pads
