Again.. As many have said, these two dont compare at all...
One is cruiser bike, other is a sports bike.... The problem with bikes is that you need more and more power! As you'd get used to the power of ur bike, u'd crave for more! Hence r6 can keep u busy for a very long time! But the intruder is a very average bike specs wise... It's just like buying a Suzuki gs500... Which bdw you can get in 2,2.5 lacs max.
Spending so much money on a cruiser is a little too expensive.... Although brand new it would be cheaper as compared to r6 and u'd get so called aftersales services... But u'd loose big time on its resale!
Mostly young people are into bigger bikes... And not many like cruisers, U might have to wait ages trying finding an uncle to sell it....
Had it been a Harley (a heritage) many would have still bought it, but intruder is not a that popular bike....
- r6 is a mean machine... A universally loved and admired machine, you could sell it quickly... Get expert opinion and tons of info on it from people and online forums.
Spares and services for r6 is no problem in Pak... Its a very popular bike. There are many in town already, dealers stock items like air filters, aftermarket exhausts, crash protectors etc. for it. Unusual Spares can be arranged from Dubai within a very few days...
- universal appeal of a sports bike is no match for a cruiser, u'd feel bullied riding along with sport bikes... After spending so much money, getting such a low spec machine is ammmm.... A BIG trade off!
