yes obviously ... people in ahl and suzuki would be shting in their pants right now ... there's no way they can compete the giant... cause this time Yamaha doing it all in the right way and not for only their profits, but the greater good of our economy too ..
1st .. they are now operating directly,no partner ship or third party crap ... strict rules, no quality issues ..
2nd... there would be no cheap tactics like importing few CBU or new stickers with centuries old engine...yamaha already made it clear ... all the bikes will be made locally with euroII, III complaint engines while bringing the latest tech. in pakistan itself ... hence the local vendors, technician and mechanics will be trained too ...
3rd .. they will spent 150 million dollars in next 5 years on latest tech.,production,training.... the investment is expected to create 45,000 jobs and promote ancillary industries and they will also export these locally built unit not vice versa, which was never done before, it will help the down to drain economy too ....
about time, yes it will take 3,4 years but the change will be magnificent ... the REVOLUTION in bike industry is coming..... time to feast my friends ... i better start saving the damn money now ...
