Suzuki Sj 410 Lwb (Hunter Hunted)

Dear Pak Wheelers,

Recently I purchased Suzuki sj 410 Lwb to fulfill my hunting & camping requirements. As diesel prices are very high now so I decided to buy a light weight petrol SUV whom got ample space to accommodate my adventures.<o:p></o:p>
With a very tight budget Suzuki SJ series was the correct choice. So through pak wheels I found that beauty.<o:p></o:p>
After some up gradation works finally the vehicle was ready for its first field test. off course shikar mission..<o:p></o:p>
On 21-Nov-2009 we left ffice:smarttags" border="0" alt="" /><st1:city w:st="on">Islamabad</st1:city> for teetar & boar hunting. Our destination was Toot Oil Field (Sawan River Bed) Near Pindighab (dist Attock).<o:p></o:p>
Two vehicals were taken.one was my suzuki & second belongs to my uncle Col.rtd.Ikram with his bounty fray Land Rover defender 110.<o:p></o:p>
We were five hunters. Myself, Uncle Ikram, His son Faizan, Friend Laghari Sahib & Raja Saqib.<o:p></o:p>
We left <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Islamabad</st1:city></st1:place> at about 10:00am & our 1^st stop was Fateh Jang for some refreshments & toping up the tanks with fuel. This hotel is on the bank of shah Pur Dam & hotel owner Yousaf is an old friend of Uncle Ikram.He cook delicious chapel kabab as well as fish.<o:p></o:p>
After having our bruch we move forward till Dhuliaan cowk (7km short to Pindighab) & took a left turn to town "sarwaya" our lands.We planned first day shoot at our own land.Its a beautiful area surrounded by small mountains and Jeepable. Last Year Akif Janjua also accompany me on his CJ in the same area & we had good game.<o:p></o:p>

After reaching our dera located deep in the lands.We settle down our lugagae , Assemble guns, Soft Top of the Suzuki Jeep was removed.I placed rear seats in such a way to this Jeep that 5 adult hunters can easily sit 7 shoot.removed the 6 seat as it was blocking the tail gate.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

I am attaching all still pics taken in two days from my mobile .My nephew Faizan had some beautiful videos of river crossing & the extreme offroad Suzuki did while water was over head lights. It was a weekend hunt(sat & Sunday).We assemble our selves & took teetar shoot in the field at about 1500 till sun set. We scored 13 on sat evening with 4 guns. Faizan my nephew hunt 9 out of 13 with his Winchester double barrel shot gun from the tail seat (guide seat) fitted on the rear of my Suzuki jeep.
While I was driving so shot only one which Faizan missed so I took my chance...bulls eye... shot..flying shot & teetar hit the ground...reason to giving more chance to Faizan is to give him more chance as he is new into game,13 years younger to me & more over he is not good on jeep driving as compare to myself.

uncle ikram & saqib bahi were in their land rover & were unlucky as we took full advantage of open top. After sun set they realize their mistake & we all (5 adults) were flying in suzuki in our own lands.We shot two big wild boars, 2 rabitts & came back to our dera at about 10pm.
uncle ikram cooked delicious mutton & chicken tikkas & his friend col.aurangzeb from kohat also joined us at bar b q.
after sleeping a cheerful night we moved fwd to naka toot (sowan river bed) next day with 1st light<o:p></o:p>

after 24 hours of continious hunting we reached isb our homes at about 10pm at night.after reaching home my wife told me that there is very little milk for my sons are left in stock so i have to bring more milk.i took my wife's car suzuki margalla to F-10 markaz market.while crossing the main road as high speed hoda civic driver probably drunk hit me & in result my both feet got fractured.right feet was so much demaged that it got operated & now with a steel rod inside it.the accident was so sudden & quick that no body inclusive of my self was able to note the reg no of that car.head lights were off so i couldnt see it coming...
a freind of mine was shoping near by , he recoganized me & took me to the hospital.doctor instructed me a stricked 6 weeks bed rest...so this season i might wont get much chances...but i am still thankful to Allah that he saved me from a bigger loss...

So very sorry to hear about your accident, such a nice thread about your hunting trip with this sudden anti climax, it explains life entirely i.e. live whatever time you have and you never know when something completely unexpected may happen. Thanks GOD you still have your wits and will surely recover fully, Ameen.
