Dear Members & Friends of Islamabad Jeep Club ( IJC )

Alhamdo Lillah
We had an excellent Skyline Drive to Pharila
We assembled near Convention Centre & left for Pharila via Chattar at 1030 am on Sunday 21 st Oct 2012

The weather was excellent & the scenic view was too good
We had delicious BBQ near pharila.( Thanx to Zeb & Asad )

Thanx to Asad for initiated this trip

This place was discovered by Hasan and Myself in our recent join expedition and it was an immediate Hit (in IJC perspective The drive offers a skyline view of islamabad and murree both at the same time. The road, hand made probably dates back to before partition and connects all the villages on top of Pir sohawa mountains that are visible from Islamabad. The location offers, from moderate to extreme off roading, peaceful drive if not opting for these 2 whispering pines and excellent scenes and could be termed as a heaven for a photographer as well as an offroader.

It was a great day out and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks a lot to fellow IJCians for making it possible
