Wheel Spacers

Hi all,

I have 1965 M38A-1 Jeep on original suspension. Problem is that after putting wider tires (R16/70/275) on original rims, my rear tires are rubbing with the inner metal sheet.

I want to know about the availability and price of wheel spacers as shown in the figure below.

You can get the spacers made from furnase. I know the places in Lahore and have got them made from them they work fine and are not costly also.I n your city check from the people who get them made for shocks those are quite comman and they will know where the furnases are.

once i say in a 95 civic...he did 3 inch spacers

Spacers r installed on my Ford GPW 1942 also.
They r doing fine in offroading trips

Thanks sir. But there is a problem the wheel nuts of my jeep have right hand thread on right side and left hand thread on left side (seedhi choori on right side and ulti choori on right side). And I think they would be having same thread on both sides (i.e., seedhi choori). So the'll be of no use to me :-(.

Couldn't find similar thing from here. cheap spacers for heavy duty wouldnt work.

and these are only 30mm thick each. they won't serve you, u'll find a body lift useful. so consier lifting you truck a little.

Thanks sir. I have installed hollow rims and that has solved my problem of rubbing. Btw I am also thinking of lifting my truck. What do you think self made shackles would do the job or I will have to import them?

These can be made in RWP . Material is cast iron . called "daigi loha" by local furnaces. ( they add a bit of nickel & chromium to std cast iron to make it less brittle)Contact Nikko , Mehmood or Jamil in city saddar road ,rwp . Should not cost you more than 2-3k /set . For M38 , ready made might be available in 2'' width . Install original studs only whether LH or RH threads.
