Ac suddenly stopped cooling

Today I went for my paper it was around 1:00pm The Ac was cooling perfect and hence I kept the thermostat at 1 and it was cooling. I came out of the car covered it with a cloth cover and went to attempt my paper. When I came back at around 6:00 pm I uncovered the car and drove. I noticed the Ac cooling was less although I had set it 3. After driving for 10 kms a hissing sound started to come inside of the cabin it was not in the engine bay and it only came with compressor on when the compressor was off the sound was not there. When I came home and parked the car I turned on the AC and the went to see the glass bottle thats used to see how much refrigerant is inside the system. When I cleared its glass I saw that the liquid was moving slowly and there were very few bubbles inside. Also when I touched the pipes that carry cool air those pipes were extremely hot thats why AC was not cooling. The car is a honda city 2005 and its AC used to work perfectly it used to give chill even in 46 degrees.

Please tell me what has gone wrong. I need urgent help because on saturday I am going to karachi by road.

But how and where. That needs to be found out. I hope that I can get some concrete reason here before I go to the mechanic because the mechanic might rip me off

Update

Went in my car and started it after 3 hours. The car started with cold light blinking. I let the car warm for 2 minutes and than turned on the AC the compressor started but it was blowing hot air and that hissing sound is still coming from the cabin what to do.

don't let anyone touch the car until u have some solid intel. Let some expert come.

well I said it because we are city owners and know how the light shows up but all other cars have heat guages if I had mentioned the light showing off somebody might have mistaken it as check engine light. i hope you understood

dont know, but mine one gives hissing sound from compressore as soon as i press the ac button and then it goes away.

yup the fans are working, compressor is also turning on but still no cooling only blowing hot air

Thermostat valve is also installed so that fans turn on and off automatically

if you can feel the suction line getting painfully cold in the engine bay then you have a fault in the HVAC unit in the dashboard, if its not sweating and not painfully cold - the system lost its refrigerant or the TX valve just failed.

Where is the suction pipe located. Plus what about the hissing sound that is coming with AC compressor on. Also when you look at the glass from which one can see the moment of refrigerant there are very few bubbles and one can see transparent liquid moving. What is that TX valve and what does it do. Also what can be the fault in the HVAC unit. Also the pipes the carry cold refrigerant from the compressor are really hot which are normally cold during AC operation.

the suction line is the thick aluminium line going to the compressor - it should be very cold the thinner one is liquid line and can burn off your skin if you try to touch it at the condenser.

If both are suction and liquid are hot - your system just took a dump, the hissing sound from the dashboard is gas flowing through the expansion valve.

When my car's condenser was leaking, the hissing sound was observed under the dash near evaporator. and after 10 minutes the cooling converted to heating.
