When moving cvt shift stick from P to R it gives a jerk and requires force. It was working very smooth initially.
I have observed:
this problem started after the decrease in fuel prices and my car started knocking.
this occurs usually in the morning or when engine is cold, if i allow the engine to heat up first then the jerk becomes minor.
if i use hi-octane with regular petrol then the shift jerk is minor.
if the car is over an inclined road then the shift jerk is major.
if i allow the engine to heat up first and fuel is mixture of hioctane and regular petrol then the shifting is comparatively smooth.
its alto eco 2012, cvt is jatco cvt7. Please advise.
