And yes, changed the coolant as well.
Amjad Ch changing the coolant is your excellent choice which is indeed needed dont forget to use distilled water instead of tap water otherwise it will rust your radiator best of luck!
isd this gear oil 75w - 85 w please mention the price and quantity of this zic gear oil ..
amjad ch please tell the price of navigation too ..
@Elien, here is the answer to the gear oil:
They returned 1/2 liter, so I assume they used 2.5 liters.
For the Garmin Gps, I willl send you a pm as it is not relevant to this thread.
I have to comment on Alto's Ac. I found it to be really good, even in direct sunlight it cools down the compartment and all in a few minutes. The fan has 4 speeds, and the final position is really a blast.
@Ahmedchcongrats on purchase of new ride.it is greatttt
hopefully we will share experiences.the first tip is that plz dont let the mechanic to change the settings of your car (carbureator mixture).
@FarhansaThanks, I am keeping this car away from the mechanics and auto-electricians. Regular oil change is what this car needs & I intend to use it on petrol only InshAllah, so no adjustments with carburetor.
I have the following upgrades in mind but not immediate:1. Install a DVD system with sliding screen2. Install back view camera3. Install rear speakers
hmm so this alto is going to japanese standard car
very true. i found the AC of this car very satisfying
keep sharing ur updates sir. i hope these twins(yours and mine car) get the same treatments
@ahmadz_1: yes certainly will, as time permits.
@amjad chsir which engine oil u used?? and what about ZIC A?secondly share garmin and GPS details here as well for all other users..regards
@ahmadz_1Regarding the engine oil, I used Petromin Ultra7, there is thread running here on it and you can check the details. I am not sure about Zic A. For the Garmin Gps, I willl send you a pm as it is not relevant to this thread.
Two thoughts for today:
Need suggestions as what to place in the trunk of the car. Should I place an extra piece of carpet, get a cardboard and cover it with cloth, plastic? Because in the current scenario, the original carpet gets dusty and in time it will look worn out:
Has anyone used Hi-Octane in Alto? Does it improve performance or does it burn out the valves? Can this engine handle it? Ratio?
Thanks.
i think that you should leave the back carpet as it is.just clean it.
thank u sir and thanks for the details provided for GPS sys.
u can use hi octance fuel it will give u better pick up and more mileage there is no side effect i.e burn out of valve drive it safe under speed of 80 km/h for 5000 km of odo as it is new engine it would take some time for tappets to adjusted..
More over alto got good power and and can easily touch 140 don't think that engine can be bursted!
Please say MashAllah. The car is upgrading and it it is still under process. Will soon upload in Member Rides when all the work will be completed.
