There is a small town on Kaghan Valley main road called Mahandri.
- Leave main road at Mahandri
- Take a jeep ride till Behari Bangla
- Camp there
- Get a guide from Behari and then start trek on foot or horse back for Dhir Top.
- From Dhir Top, u have to walk for 75-90 minutes on top edge of mountain to reach Ansoo Lake
The 2nd route is to go first to Manur Top and then turn back to Ansoo Lake
In snow, this walk can be dangerous
- Once at Ansoo Lake, u need to cross the mountain and descend towards Saif-ul-Muluk Lake
The red line is jeep track from Mahandri till Behari Bangla ----- 11 km
The green line is trek from Behari to Ansoo Lake (all ascend) ----- 10 km
The blue line is Manoor Gali trek which also comes to Ansoo Lake ----- 13.5 km
Ansoo Lake till Saif-ul-Muluk Lake (all descend) ----- 10 km

Mahandri ----- 5100 ft ASL
Behari Bangla ----- 8500 ft ASL
Dhir Top ----- 12,100 ft ASL
Manoor Top ----- 13,000 ft
Ansoo Lake ----- 13,800 ft ASL
Saif-ul-Muluk Lake ----- 10,500 ft ASL
Naran ----- 8,100 ft ASL
Please attempt it in coming summer as snowfall has already started in valley and it started few weeks back on mountain tops so now it is fresh snow and dangerous for such treks.
