Bro you should take Tegzam from Hyderabad to Rawalpindi.

It's right time to reach RWP is around 9 PM. So even if it gets late, it won't matter as you will have to continue journey next morning. After reaching RWP, you can take any better hotel in saddar nearest to RWP station. Rest there and start afresh next morning.

If you're willing to take the train from Lahore then there are many options like

Subak Raftar 7 AM
Rawal Express 12:30 AM (night)
Subak Khram 4:30 PM
ISB Express 6 PM

Above all runs between LHR to RWP and rarely get late because of short route.

By road is faster. However you will have to transfer to bus station with all your luggage. Also it will be expensive as Business Express will be 4000 (Budget class) + Daewoo 1200 = 5200

On other hand, Tezgam will be 3400 for AC Business all the way to Pindi.

Some of our Friends Thinking to Travel Through Daewoo Bus Express from Hyderabad to Abatabad, Fare is 4200, it Reaches there in 25 Hours. It is the Cheapest and Fastest way to Travel, BUT, is it a good way to travel?

Kamar akar jaye gi.. Once I traveled from KHI to RWP in Daewoo and I didn't like the experience. Plus Sindh has worst roads now a days (because of maintenance) with lots of diversions which will be a bumpy ride. Daewoo choose Kabirwala, Jhang, Pindi Bhattian, M2 route which is also not in very good shape.

Bus is OK for short journeys but I never prefer it for long routes. In train you can eat, sleep, walk without any problem.

Choice is yours.. save a few hours, travel by bus OR more comfort, a few hours more.

You can go chillas via manshera to bisham Dassu chillas, mean you bypass whole kaghan naran valley

How many days it will take to reach Gilgit if go by road on rented Hiace?

and can u mention jeep rents in GB, gilgit, astore skardu area?

Less than 24 hrs. Do reach Besham before 10 AM to catch convoy or army won't let u go ahead till next day convoy.

Jeep rates depend on itinerary.

I Think 4 Days are Needed just to reach and come Back From Gilgit to Hyderabad.

frm islamabad u need 30 hrs to reach skardu and abt 24 hrs to reach gilgit (KKH) .... so u need abt 15 dayz t cover all there areas...........

lol.. bus yar kabhi log samajhtay hain ke dusra chawaliyan mar raha hai sahee info nahi de raha..

Anyway.. Convoy leaves 10 AM from Besham and at the same time (i.e. 10 AM) from Gilgit. No passenger bus, coaster, hiace is allowed to move without convoy. However, commercial vehicles like trucks, private cars, jeeps and motorcycles are allowed to travel anytime without convoy.

Foreigners are also not allowed to travel without convoy no matter if they are on a private car.

Dear convoy system has ended now...now 1 can go independently
