usman bhae, wat my knowledge says Forenza was only sold in the Canadian and US market wid other names. (correct me if im wrong) and as some body said GM sold the Suzuki share that means Forenza cannot be sold as the GM chevrolet Optra.
and as far is SX4 considered yesterday i was loking at the pics of that car. to me that car isnt at all of ours Pakistani taste. if u have seen the india TATA cars even thoose cars ugly probably they like such cars we dont even the SX4 would fail here. Pakistanis want something like the kiazashi (or wat ever the new car is called)
@froggy, mayb theyll end up the rxi version or mayb the 1.3 version, but history says they have had 2, 1.0L cars (alto and Cultus) selling like hot cakes side by side. and probably they would keep a Sedan in the line up. but if they discontinue liana it would be misery for Liana owners to source its spare parts. (like its for me so source Baleno parts some times).
one more thing that came in my mind is that wen in 2006 there were rumours about Swift launch there were also rumours about an 800cc EFI alto. so mayb there are chances of omiting Mehran, alto 800, cultus 1000, Swift 1.3, Liana 1.3 and 1.6 options are open until Suzuki it self comes up wid some thing
