    Default platz maintenance tips required?

    2003 model platz,
    as the car is too low so it requires spacers to be fit in both front and rear shocks.
    can any one tell me about a sound mechanic in LAHORE who could fix this problem.
    also, the CNG comsumption is quite high, almost 100-110 kms on long drive. keeping in mind that the engine is 1000cc, it is supposed to give better performance.
    can any expert share some knowledge. thanks

    In my Opinion Dont use spacers put new Rims & Tyres set in it & it will be perfect. I own Toyota Vitz which orignally have almost same ground clearence so my one is equiped with 165/70/R14 Tyres and the car never hits a highest jump with three peoples. and as far CNG is concerened its not a bad average as its most probably Automatic as far my thinking, Automatic cars consume more than Manual one. Tune up ur engine every month atleast after every 2000Km with new airfilter as it plays major role on cars equiped with CNg.
    Regards
    Adnan

    @farazahmed dear.i also have 2003 model platz, but its manual tranny. i have a 60 kg cylinder in it and it gives me 200 km average within the city. i also got the cng fitted in it from lahore. u can go to that guy for tuning. name is Italian CNG. from kalma chowk, go on qasoor road, and on 2nd traffic signal, get the side road onto ur left. go parallel to the main road and u wud see the shop. rizwan is the guy over there who is the owner, and waris is the mechanic. they are outstanding in their job. give them my reference and Inshallah they will solve ur problem. u can also contact me at 03225579422 for any furhter clarifications. as for the road clearnace, DONT go for spacers and shocks as they will ruin ur ride comfort. go for 185/13s. i dont recommend 14s in platz as they are too big for the car and grossly affect ur car odometer reading

    MOD EDIT: PLEASE write Inshallah, Allah, etc. with capital beginnings. fixed now.

    Waleed bhai.............the aluminium fillings things you've spoken against........are you just being cautious or talking from experience? at least my Corolla needed those and is working perfectly fine since the installation in August 2005.

    @vajih
    sir i have never used them in any of ma car to be honest, but somehow 9 outta 10 guys on pakwheels, and 7 outta 10 out there in the market are against it. i guess i even made a thread abt it way back when i bought the car. as far as ma friends are concerned, they definitely have had problems with these spacers and have complained of their rides gettign stiffer and the shocks wearing off much earlier
