So a few days back my bro's cd70's rear tire gave away... and today mine too! lol

So installed 2 new tires, for bros bike i installed Diamond Altis.. 6 ply rating.. 1225Rs
And for mine i have installed Service cruiser.. 6ply rating.. 1390Rs

Both tires are 2.50 width but 70 is 17 inch rim size and mine is 18.

rest is in the pics... went for stylish grip patterns this time 4 the first.

I have also previously mentioned it here and there.. that our local tire puncture repair shops people fill 45 - 50PSI air pressure in the tires...

Whereas u can easily read clearly written on the both tires that maximum inflation pressure in 40PSI cold.
I think in 4ply tires the Max. inflation pressure is even lesser... 35PSI max.

So due to extra pressure, tires wear out more quickly, do not provide proper road grip, offer a stiff ride and when get punctured more easily just like an over filled balloon blows up more easily...

My bike's manual states 32Psi max. for the rear tire with pillion ridding! And even lower recommended pressure if riding single! and theres about a 5 PSI less pressure for the front tire in both conditions.

I dont know whats the monotony of our people having over pressured tires?

For that u will have to consult a rim alignment shop...

I think hub wont be replaced, spokes and rim only... but the question is, would the larger rim rub inside the mudguard later? specially when pillion riding?

junoon has 18 inch rim, i have stated that above too
and for service paid 1390Rs and for Diamond 17inch tire paid 1225Rs
both are 6ply

I have had an experience of this tyre in my CG overall performance and road grip was outstanding but when it comes to Off Road then its a big big headache and most of the time we friends keep busy ourselves busy in adventures and exploring different rocky areas so now again back to stock Servis 17" tyre/rim

^^ Yes i had an idea about that...
Brother's altis tires would do good even in dust, mud or off road stuff etc but mines performance would be compromised i know..

This is because it has very less and simple tread pattern, looks cool but it isnt that efficient for removing dirt/water under the tire...

Somebody stated in a CG125 deluxe thread that his bike gave v.poor grip on mud... and this is the same tire as 125 deluxe
