Panther Pacer Tyre Query CG125 (3.00-17)

So, my CG125's rear tyre has been declared faulty yet again ... and i have been told to replace it. It was due right when i shifted to better quality Arya Rims, an experience which i have also shared in my thread, here: https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/bikes-3-wheelers/234277-abobobillys-cg125-thread-its-evolution-stuff-i-changed#post4359405

Anyway ... i am bored with Panther Power, and eventhough i am specifically told to buy only that, I don't want to. Since a few months, i have become very conscious about two things when it comes to tyres.
1. Tread Pattern
2. Road Grip

Panther Power, even though was satisfactory performer ... i am certain i can find a better alternative. Diamond Tyres are getting too much fault claim these days, so they are totally out of the picture.

I am considering Panther Pacer (Rear)

In my old GS the rear tire was of Servis and in the current GS the rear tire is of Panther and i found the grip of panther tire much better than servis.

Panther TREKKER all the way brother. I am currently using Diamond Altis and extremely satisfied with it. Who told you that they are getting fault claims.

My experience with Ghauri was not very good. It is an ok brand but durability is the main issue.

Does CG have a 17" wheel?????

@dongiovanni ! Panther trekker is an Offroad Tyre brother. I am looking for a tread which could perform best on Road.

And about the fault claims, recent Diamond tyres are getting more fault claims, as told by quite a few shop owners. Panther is Dominating, with Servis coming to 2nd.

If anyone has any theory or information about how tread patterns work, i'd be delighted to hear it. @vickytulla, @xulfiqar, probably?

Trekker is a 6PLY tyre which is only suitable for off road.

Bhai jaan 4 Ply tyre to Pakistan aap use kar hi nahi saktay. Har 10 din baad ap puncture walay k pass kharay hogay. And from where did you learn that 6 ply tyre is only for off-road.

Brother Pakistan main 80% off-roads hi to hain. Just inquire about this Tyre, I've heard that it performs well on tarmac & gravel too.

And you didn't tell that if Cg has 17" wheels??

you have to compromise of grip or durability soft rubber give you grip but worn out faster

Exactly. I bought my current tyre with the same thinking and mashaAllah now its becoming a nighmare because of muddy roads and patches

This type of groove is not suitable for off road.

My dear get the GHAURI tyre 3.00-6 Ply it is a very well gripped & very long life tyre i was used this tyre in my sprinter about 20k & after using 20k it was as new as it was in start in this period i got only two punchers in it its price is about 1500pkr

Really? Am using 4PLY Servis LongLife in CG since 2007 and have done lots of successful off road trips and never got a single puncture.

Brethren, i understand your concerns about Off-Roading. However, almost all the time, my main route is "A Road", and a high speed one for that matter i.e. Canal Road. I wanted a product with focus on "Road" first, while still maintaining the Off Road capability. I am pretty sure i have made the right choice by choosing Panther Pacer.

Bought the tyre today. Here are a few pictures:

It was a lot different than I imagined it'd be. You can compare my pics with the one on their website (or posted a few posts before). I thought it'd be flatter and less round.
- The tread pattern is directional, meaning you can't put it both ways like you can with Panther Power. Hopefully it'll decrease the rolling resistance, hence better road grip and increase fuel mileage.
- The big block design will hopefully not screw with tyre's off road capability.

Once the running period is over, which would be nearly 100 kilometers or more (yes tyres have a running period), tyre's actual 'kartoot' will start to show.
