Up for sale is a used Dual action (DA) polisher of the most famous DA brand Porter Cable, model 7424. It runs on 110v and comes with a 220v converter. This is the original dual action polisher that gave the fame to dual action polishers. Every review you read about detailers using porter cable, they'll mention how rock solid these machines are to last a life time. Also, please keep in mind that the DA I am selling is 7424 and the current offering of porter cable DA is 7424XP (which comes with a 4.5amp motor compared to 7424's 3.7amp, but the XP model is sold in the 20K range on PW several times).
Dual Action polishers are characterised by the motion of the head (spins around itself as well as in a orbit). This irregular motion prevents the polisher from burning the paint, which refers to removal of paint below the clear coat surface. Dual action polishers are very USER FRIENDLY because they produce very little heat compared to a rotary polisher. Hence, even if you're a beginner, you can use this polisher with confidence.
Its made in Mexico and a very sturdy machine. Of the two years that its been here in PK, its only been used around 6-7 times max. The Porter Cable 7424 polisher makes product application, polishing, and buffing faster and more effective than detailing by hand. The machine works effectively for removing light to medium swirls (via compounding/polishing), applying sealants and waxes. With variable speeds and a dual-action pad, this polisher is great for novice detailers or seasoned pros that just enjoy the ease of use.
A few pictures of the product are attached. It has usual wear and tear (mostly paint removal) but nothing that affects the working of the machine.
PREFERENCE
I am based in rwp/isb. My first preference will be to sell it to someone in Rwp/ISB so that I could hand it over with ease and the machine can be tested in front.
People outside rwp/isb can reserve the slot to get in reservation queue and if nobody shows up from rwp/isb (by 9th Oct) I can make arrangements for sending the machine to your city (via daewoo) and also show you a short video to show the machine works.
Although its a used machine and you wont even get a warranty of a new machine these days, but I will provide you a 10 day warranty to give you satisfaction that the machine works fine when used on a car for longer duration (polishing, waxing etc).

- Side handle attachment (for both left/right handed people)
- Attached 5" backing plate (for attaching 5.25", 5.5" and 6.5" velcro based pads).

To all intents and purposes, the Porter Cable 7424 Car Polisher is the industry standard car polisher. No other dual-action polisher even comes close in power, effectiveness or ease of use.
The Porter Cable 7424 car polisher features a random orbit (dual-action) polishing action for a swirl-free finish. While powerful, the 7424 will not scratch or burn even the most delicate clear coat paint finish. The 3.7 amp motor delivers plenty of torque, and the electronic variable speed control allows you to vary operating speed from 2,500 to 6,000 oscillations per minutes (OPM). For comfort, the hand grip can be attached to either side.
Porter Cable engineered the 7424 polisher to safely apply polish and wax in a manner similar to hand application. In a matter minutes, it creates a mirror-like finish and shine that would not be possible by hand. Unlike a conventional rotary buffer, the pad on the Porter Cable 7424 does not rotate, it oscillates.
