Okay so we've had those monotonous Corolla Vs Civic comparisons for yonks, without anything substantial being posted. So i though i'd get your views regarding the following.
The cars i thought would be appropriate are;
The Toyota Caldina GT-4 N Edtion Wagon.
The Mitsubishi Evolution 9 Wagon.
The Mitsubishi is, as apparent, based on the sports sedan, significantly strenghtned to handle all that excess weight and minor revisions to the suspension. Available in GT and GT-A spec. From what i've examined, carries over most of the features from its aggressive twin like ACD, AYC AND the Mivec 4G63T. power is rated at 280hp and it gets the 6 throw as well.
On the other hand the Caldina, is the unsung hero here. Featuring full time 4WD and the ever loved 3S-GTE rated at 260hp. comes in at 1490kg which is 10 Kgs heavier than the Mitsu Sedan and 3 lighter than the Mitsu Wagon. The only potential hinderance i see is that the 3S-GTE is mated to a 4 speed electrinoc slushbox.But dont let that fool you. Specs for both are as follows.
