Microfiber is made from a blend of polyester an polyamide both of which are man made plastics. Plastics by nature are hard and not biodegradeable so no matter how soft, how plush a mf is it will cause swirls when pressure is used or when its dirty or dry. Mf towels, mitts etc have ability to retain dirt so lubrication must be used......detailer sprays, car washes with more lubricity than detergent is very important to avoid wash/drying induced swirls.
