below 3.5 grade cars are just junk so keep away from them.
my friend had bought vitz and he is crying like a baby now ,, the transmission dosen't work right,, the switching of gears is awful ,, and gives a pretty bad jerk ,, so be aware:::

The auction sheet does have all the info but in Japnese. what you are seeing is a translation of auction sheet but even though the milage and grade of the car is in english.

the grade 3.5 that you mentioned is the overall grade which depends on the number of scratches and dents on the body.
most people remove those dents when they import the cars. but they do one dirty thing also that is turn back the meter. it is un imaginable to see all cars available that are under or around 35000 KM`s. while there are only 10 % cars in the Japnese auction that have such low milage.

The problem with your friends car seems to be like old and dirty Automatic transmissions flued ask your friend to spend some 200-300 Rs and change the transmission OIL and things will be OK. Insha-Allah

How they change the mileage before grading? Why the grading inspection team ignore this fact or they not abole to find such tempering?

@jcars ,, the problem is somewhat eliminated by changing oil , actually its 1999 model but odometer said 47000 km, but mainainance dept. incharge at toyota dealership in khi said its odometer has been tampered , his guess was the actual milage is somewhere around 100,000 to 1250000 km. the new transmission is notavailable and will cost not less than 1-lac if imported . the car was purchased for 540,000/-
anyway, whats done is done ,,

i have a question for jcars .. is it possible to bring "R" grade car to pakistan , "R" means "Repaired from some accident"
R grade cars are very cheep in USS Auto auction website

it is possiable to import any kind of car in any condition. I have even seen many major accidented cars on the port.

85 % cars availabLE in the marker has tempered meters.

ask for friend to check the automatic transmission oil FILTER also.
