WTS: diesel tachometer for nissan sunny b14

hello all

up for grabs is an instrument cluster of nissan sunny b14(model 94~03) having tachometer for diesel engine, its a very rare item as i have experienced when it took me almost an year to find one, basically found another for a friend but he sold his car.

i will also give the maping of the pins for installation of this meter, secondly will also help in getting the correct signal for the rpm (took me a lot of time and expertise to figure out).

my demand is 4000, location is islamabad

very nice (Y) its a rare find , i was serching for one, for a friend's B14 , found a pulsar GTi-R unit after alot of searching.

^take my word for it, it as a heater coil sign, will have to illuminate it to make it visible

DOes it work on same pricipal that we disscused long time back ? i mean by measuring AC frequency from alternator ?

sorry for the very very late raply. i forgot about this thread

well no it doesn't works on that principal, basically it gets the signal from the diesel pump, but here is where the simplicity ends, the signal direct form the pump doesn't drives the tacho, there is an accessory control module under the dash, the signal goes there and from there a signal come out which drives the tacho, took me a lot of experimenting to find it out, but the result is wroth it, 100% accurate tacho reading....

Actually i do not have friends, i thought i had but that was not true. I only have people around who eat my head when they are in trouble and they think that i am the only one who can help whereas i tell again and again that i am no expert neither have i claimed any such thing any where. And when i try to help they do not like what they listen so they get mad and start saying VERY FRIENDLY things baout me.
