Okay, let me get this right,

You are saying i should calculate the length x width x height (in mm) and then divide it by 1728?

Should i go for the recommended dimensions by the company for the enclosure:
Kenwood Corporation | Car Electroics | Subwoofers | KFC-W3514DVC

I wanna know, what if i want to make the enclosure bigger than this, i.e. more volume.

Also, is MDF the best material to build the enclosure? I have some .75 inch chip board sheets readily available also, is it okay to use those?

no the length ,width and height in inches........yeah it is okay to use chip board also, a minor difference........

yeah u can make bigger also ,but for sealed go for the company recommended as it gives a good result.....
