Hello Friend,,,,, i have my honda city 2011 silver.and i wanted to install chines indash DVD.without GPRS ...its cost 17500 ..Please Give me suggestion .which brand is good ,and where its gud to purchase in ISB or Rawalpindi,,,Waiting for ur replies

Yeah, it must be Rockmars and fits perfectly in car.Its performance is nice.

yes i wanted to ask the same. i plan to install rockmars with gps which costs 29000 from hyperstar. hows its quality compared to oem one.?

If you want quality then go for a branded one. I installed rockmars indash dvd player then replaced it with pioneer 6050. Check my ride's thread.

6050 is double din cd /mp3 player, not a dvd player.

I just swapped it from my colleague's Altis.

If you want dvd then go for pioneer 4250 (used) as suggested by madhouse. Its quality is just superb, brand new is not available, if u r able to get it, it will cost you around 35k. It is better to go for a slightly used one for 25 k.

well bro rockmars is availaible in the price of aroun 17500 with fitting, but DVD players are designes for video quality and not audio, u will have to install all four Good quality speaker, something like sony components, and then the Amplifier becomes necessary to get a reasonable sound......so in total in dash DVD layers with Oem fitting, rear view camera, Front sony component speakers, and rear some other sony speakers (4000 rs), and amplifier pioner (6000-8000 rs)....total budget 35000 with reasonable and good quality sound output.......as for OEM indash well its also good but the speakers are pethatic, so this rockmars offered with 6 months Pioneer pakistan warranty is also a good option,had this all in my car

A brotherly advice, stay away from rockmars. its audio and video quality sucks big time. And after few days or weeks it touch screen will give you problems and you will find it quite annoying.

4250 is good player but almost all dvd players can not match the sound quality of dedicated audio player.
New 4350 will cost you almost 38k.
My suggestion for you in this case will be that live with a 1 din player currently you are using and wait till you have budget to buy a branded player. Rockmars is rubbish if you ask me

if you really wanna go for chinese player then get this instead i basically bought this for reverse camera but i use it for audio and videos as well

I saw this at a shop. Isn't it annoying? That your back view mirror is replaced with this?

well it acts as mirror as well when its off but i got jet black tints so i dont care much,i use side mirrors and i dont change lanes much so its pretty much fine with me n i keep it on all the time with videos mostly n infact its easy to watch videos on it rather than to bend your neck at double din players to watch videos :Pbtw back view mirror is still at its place behind this lcd

Well i got rockmars and its working perfectly fine with me as far as the video quality is concerned it has got no issues but yup audio sucks, and you would be requring a good amp and four good speakers to have something acceptable(good)...... Choice is yours.......

I got the DVD in dash Premier with 1 yr warenty .and 17000 ...Its video quality is Good more than Rock Mar....

one and the same thing, preimer or rokmars, they dont match oem one but good enough a deal in this price tag
