With all due respect.
Sir, which Focal or Morel components wud u suggest in the same price bracket as JBL GTI comps? and will they stand a chance against the 150wrms comps when comparing loudness?
I have heard almost every series which Focal got to offer, Access, Polyglass, K2 Power, Utopia, Limited Edition, FP series u name it..... Personally owned all the series except for Utopia. owned their 2 channel amp, dsp with amps, 4 channel amps, mono amps, coaxial speakers, 2 way components, 3 way components, subwoofers etc, played alot with em
I have a very strong reason to believe that the street price of these JBL components will be very less in the UK, compared to the not so mainstream brands like Morel, Focal, DLS, CDT, Rainbow, HAT, Dynaudio, Hertz, Audison etc
Alright if the JBL GTI comps are beyond the buyers budget, better buy Fusion NV locally. I have also used JBL Power series and Infinity Kappa series Comps which can be found in competitive price too from UK, but they both lack the midbass compared to the Fusion NV. Power series has a different tone altogether, more towards the bright side but they do not scream like the Polk DBs, where as the Kappas have a different tone they are mellow. The overall quality of JBL power n kappas will be greater, but the Fusions will blend well in a setup with loud sub/subs. But if the buyer can get his hands on the JBL GTI comps, well that wud be an ultimate combo...
I assume that the buyer is after some loud comps which are better suited for SPL setup integration, for that strong midbass and bright tweets are better so that the treble cuts through the strong bass frequencies being played from the sub and the stronger mid bass will blend well with the loud subs
Just my input, i might be totally wrong though
