Hello,
For Woofer or speaker enclosure I heard about "frequency tuned" box. Can anyone please help me to understand this? Also how can I tune the box for Bass frequency.
Thanks in advance!
search the google
by the way we tune amp not box
a box is tuned by altering its size and internal parameters.
u can give it a try on Re enclosure calculator
google it
mixing designing with tuning!
No he is actually right. U change the internal volume, the vent size and length.
By the way how do u tune the frequency through the amp?
@madhouse12: Thanks bro for you comments. Well yes I guess that by adjusting the volume, height, width of box you can tune it. But I was looking if there is come method to calculate the stuff?
Bro splfanatic told u of a calculator. Google it
Arslaan bhai which frequency(enclosure) is best for both higs nd lows as well in a 3.5cft
@splfanatic: Sorry bro I didn't got your point earlier, I have googled it and found it. Thanks man.
@madhouse12: Thanks brother for clarification.
3.5 cu ft? Single sub or two? Which sub?
Single fusion 15". Accha space is no issue design me a loudest box
@poster: sorry for being going offtopic.
contact splfanatic for the loudest box
@madhouse12: I have seen many people installed Woofer in Mehran "phata" I guess there is not full enclosed box for woofer (as phata is placed on CNG Cylinder). So in this case will it give appropriate bass etc?
Try this:Speaker Enclosure Volume Calculator
No a sub wont give good sound installed in a phatta. Better get a tuned box or sealed box.
@madhouse12: Yeah that's what I have been thinking. For bass you need closed enclosure. Actually now a days I'm trying different DIY things, recently done FM Modulator for Apline ( https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/d-i-y-projects/184661-d-i-y-usb-aux-card-reader-rs-260-a ) and now looking for something else!!!
Thanks for your comments though!
+1 to madhouse suggestion
i saw a thin poineer sub cabinet with 12" sub fixed , slightly more than the total depth of 12 inche woofer and air suspension type.,, length was slightly more than two subs parellel.
