    Default Why so many brand-new CITY: 2009 are up for sale?

    I don't know if you guys noticed it - but there are a lot many brand new / (and slightly used) Honda CITY: 2009 are up for sale (adverts put on this site).

    What could be the reason?

    Is there some sort of customer-dissatisfaction issue?

    Some problem with the car itself?

    Anybody!!!

    may be peple r tryin to make some profit out of it...Dont really know bro !!
    But y r u so worried ?
    .

    It may have something to do with seeing the Mercedes star on the hood guiding the way, the Benz specific solid feel, the Power, the Looks, the Prestige, but whatever it is, its intoxicating!!

    @rjs

    don't worry bro, its a nice car and better than heavy toyota xli which should have been 1.8 at least.

    May be people are posting due to credit crunch or may be people are afraid of price fall i guess.

    well this one surely is a big thing.

    The reason why its expensive as compared to previous version of city is that its engine is improved so i guess its more fuel efficient, more, it has got anti-lock braking system and of course a new shape.

    I've not inspected in detail, some owner of new honda city can guide you better and i suggest you to first drive the new honda city by yourself to see the difference between your model and the new one. First make sure that you're cent percent satisfied, then buy it.

    its a way better car that corolla this time except the interior which is a huge disppointment to me . its more spacious from inside (leg space...not the width), better turning radious, less weight, more horse power and huge boot like previous model

    @RatedR

    The last City I owned was a 1.5L Steermatic, that I kept for little under 3 years. Now, I am little 'anxious' to know if the new 1.3L (minus optitron meter, driver seat armrest, rear steet armrest, high mount back stop lamp) will feel like. Your input as owner of the new model, will help me. Please write in detail your experience. Thanks

    A car is judged overall, not the small things you've mentioned. It has an optitron meter btw. you can easily get an orignal middle console box, imported from malaysia/thailand.. and the stop light too.. for what? max 5k? 6k? that's about it! i dont think these little things matter. look at what it has to offer : 1.3L 100BHP engine, Drive By Wire Throttle, ABS breaks, newly tunefd suspension for dynamic drivcing experience. You need to get Alloys/Tires and you're ready to get.. like i said before, little accessories like console boxes, fog lamps etc can be added later. fog lamps are already available oin the market. now please don't say that it doesn't have the space cuz that's the way they've made it. there are holes on the back side and the fog lamp comes with the whole kit to remove it and fix it!

    My experience for the first 200 kms has been really good. haven;t pushed it yet ( car is in running period), but the comfort levels are really high. the quality is top notch, and the complains about the interiors is just a hoax. it's just black. the quality is top notch. i tested it atleast 5 times before buying it over the GLi.

    1. greedy investors trying to make a quick buck on a stupidly priced and spec'd car
    2. genuine buyers who have realized what a stupid mistake they have made and are trying to recover some of their money before it's too late.

    i also think its not a car for pakistani market.. the desing is based on euro standards...i guess ppl in honda here are stupid.. i dont mind the desinges but they should offer more options with it.. no upgrades available when u buy the car... for example if i had a coice i would change the front and rear lights and get a different grill.. so i think it would look better from behind... i dnt like the back of it otherwise the car is okay. for me i give...
