Default HONDA CITY 2002 Fuel Consumption Help required

Salam guys, I need help for fuel consumption on my car. I recently bought used Honda City 2002, with 65000 KM done on petrol so far. The CNG is not installed. I checked the mileage on highway and it is 12 KM/L. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

I am really disappointed with it. What do I need to do to increase the fuel consumption?

wich engine oil you are using? use low viscosity oil. Now low viscosity oils are recommended from OE manufactures for better consumption. i saw a new suzuki swift owner,s manual. they recommend 0w-20.
Go for any SAE 5w-30 or 5w-40 With ACEA: A1/B1,A3/B3/B4 engine oil. i hope it,ll give you a better fuel consumption.

Donot exceed than 100km/h and use 5w30 engine oil. Check your spark plugs they might be weak, and use only stock tyres. Big tyres tend to ruin economy alot. I use 185/50/R14 tyres and keep my speed till 100km/h and i get about 14-15 on highway w/o a/c. with a/c it is 12-13 kmp/l
