Question Honda City Battery replacement advice required

After almost four years, my 2009 Honda City's battery went dead. I started the car at my office. Heard a clicking sound. I luckily managed to have the car jump started with a help of a fellow colleague. After returning home, I tried to restart the car after two hours. I didn't start. I need advice regarding battery replacement. Should I have it replaced from the company or is it ok to have it replaced at home as the battery shop is just a walking distance from my home. Would my vehicle require a reprogramming/update of the ECU or will the settings remain intact? You input shall be highly appreciated. Thanks.

no, just replace the battery and you are good to go, just be careful to connect the wires to the correct terminals, red to the positive and black with negative, connecting them the other way will damage the ecu

if your car doesn't have anything heavy like a sound system, then replace the battery with one of the same capacity as the stock battery

Ask the shop owner if you can trade your old battery in too, might reduce a few bucks :=)

One of the battery dealer told me that original AGS batteries which came with the car only made for Honda and not in market so equal to original is AGS is 50AMP, is that true?
