Default Honda City 2005 Auto VS Manual - 1st Time Car Buyer

    Hi Wheelers,

It's been awesome experience on PakWheels forum. I appreciate people responding in detail.

Coming to the point, I've got around 750k in my pocket to buy a CLEAN Honda City 2005.

I am confused if I should buy a used Honda City Vario or go for the Manual version. Someone told me that never buy a AUTO car which is more than 5 years old.

I am getting a Honda City Vario, Petrol, Clean car, around 100,000KM driven fitting my budget. I am confused if I should go for it or buy a Manual one.

Lastly, I am getting a Honda City Manual, 2005, 5 owners and 70k driven. I am not sure if I should buy it or not. Why 5 owners?

Any help would be highly appreciated

You already said that you want honda city.
Plus automatic car morethan 5 year old is "chawwal" only. No. of years has nothing to do with specific auto gear.
Plus 5 owners thing is little bit fishy. There might be the chance of any permanent or expensive part replacement issue or might be accidents. Usually people avoid such cars but that's not necessary all the time.

Thank you for your response. What should I inspect in Honda City Vario before buying? Any specifics would help.

    Solution
The problem with used city vario is that it had CVT transmission, people at that time didn't understand that and used normal automatic gear oil, hence ruining them.(Clean cars exist too). Whatever car you buy, make it sure its non accidental and is maintained properly, as nobody has got time to visit mechanics every now and then.

    As you know nothing.
check with the mechanic who knows more about automatic cars or deals in it. Inspect your car throughly and if he says okay then buy it.
Any major accident specially from front side shouldn't acceptable.
Minor accidents in 10 years happen in pakistan and it's normal in used cars.
