i got this my problem on my stock japanese liana 1.6l manual the Rpm drops on AC FROM 1 TO 0.3 ON CNG,what i just do was increasing the car speed and now it remains on 0.8 on ac and 1 on without ac,this only happens on cng.
same problem with my civic.without ac its totally fine but when i turn on the ac the car almost dies.got it tuned many times got the throttle body cleaned but no difference.now the only conclusion ive come to is remove the killer cng

u guys are having idiling issue.your idle control valve is not working properly,i had the same problem with my accord
1 thing more honda cars do not run well on cng.for honda cng is like a ciggerate
Servicing the throttle body solved this problem in my civic
I have a VTi 2004 model i had same problem
and RPM's just go down when hit brakes at CNG
And car just shuts down completely
went to mechanic just raised rpm in cng thats what i did
idle control valve is faulty
Very true Honda cars dont run good at CNG
checkout my DIY WRD civic clean the VSS sameway InshaAllah problem will be solved as cylender in the vss machanisim drys up.
Also use ngk cng/lpg closed gap plugs
i m fed up of this problem with my civic..after spending so much money end time the problem is still there... :(((( got throttle body clean 2 days ago it became better and when i refilled the gas today it got worst again :(( earlier for the first time it also started after filling cng..cng kit cleaned 2 times and got new advancer emulator..but everything is useless :(((
Problem with my Civic Vti 97 is strange. Car runs absolutely fine on CNG and petrol. Pick and everything else is same you are driving on petrol. But problem comes when I stop the car after driving more than 15 to 20 km and re-start the car within couple of minutes RPM goes approx to Zero and car get stopped some time but some time it wont stopped. if I restart after 10 to 15 min car operates normally. I have done all the thing mentioned above to resolve this problem:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />1- TP body service2- Plug change3- IACV thing cleaned etc.But no change. Due to this problem I cannot stop to fill CNG in the middle of my way or I have to wait to get the car cool down for about 15 to 20 min.
All memmbers who have problem with civic 6 generation and 7th generation can solve RPM drop problem by simply adding LAMBDA LC-01 of Landi Renzo from a good cng installer. I am enjoying it from Nov. 2009 till now. No rpm drop no hazitaion no pickup issue just as one driving it on petrol. i have tuned my car only 3 time during this period.Bhai "Ager oonton walon say dosti rakhni hai o ghar kay darwazy oonchay rakhnay hongay" ager 10 lakh ki gari rakhi hai to 14 15 hazar kharch karnay say nuqsaan nahi hoga.
i hav a same sick prob wid my civic 2000:( i went to bilal gunj today n changd my ivac sensor or iavc(dnt knw xct name) but still problem is there:S I cleanded my throttle body many tymes n it works proprly some days but after 4 to 7 days again prob...
u guys just need tappet adjustment and proper air block on Cng...and ur problem will be solved Insha Allah.....
If ur car dies down. Just replace ur MAIN RELAY. remove ur glove box. it is bolted on the side wall
bros, according my little knowledge this problem occurs in civic 01 to 05 model very commonly and the only reason is the air filter box it doesnt fits tightly and the (NAKKAY) beeing broken therefore it takes air from different places, i bought 02 civic last month it also has the same problem changed the box and its fine now, before doing all other things like sensors throttle etc. first of all check for it thx
the only way to stablize the rpms is to clean n wash the throttle body with the spray availabe in the market is carb cleaner...... and thn tipet adjustment is must..........this will surely fix the problem.....and if possible use bosch original 4 head spark plugs.
@ rouge did u got ur problem solved or not when get it solved let us know what was the solution and which pw member's decision helped u out
@ dr boost.well i changed 6 throttle bodies as my butterfly was out of order so the mechanic said that get a throttle body which is fitted in engine take it out and dont change the setting or open the iacv valve so u can get original setting so only changing iacv valve is not applicable what i think so what do u say irfan44
