    Default Civic 1.8 Reborn/FD/R18A1 w/e

    Hey guys,

I have a 2009 bought civic 1.8 oriel, and i think its about time i do some performance enhancements on it. I know its an economical engine but what other choice do I really have in Pakistan? =P

Anyways I've managed to save up 155,000/-. I have no idea about where to find performance parts for it in Lahore, could one of you experienced buddies lend me a hand and guide me whats best bang for buck? and where I can get the parts from.

Im in Malaysia atm and im tempted to buy an Aluminium crank pulley (source: ZERONE ZERONE Lightened Aluminium Crank Pulley - Honda Civic FD 1.8 car parts, ZERONE ZERONE Lightened Aluminium Crank Pulley - Honda Civic FD 1.8 performance accessory, details and information by www.kakimotor.com - ZERONE Brand - View / Buy / Order) is it worth it?

My saved up amount is solely for performance and no visual upgrades.

Locally You can get Long Ram Intake both in Simota considerably cheaper and AEM K&N but they will cost alot.Boltonn Exhaust System(Header, dowpipe muffler)
thts it.U have to import things like lighter crank pulley, cam pulley, lighter flywheel etc ur clutch,Would suggest you to go for Some computing upgarde aswell will worth alot.like some Hondata or AEM plug n play etc

Order stuff from abroad and dont go for cheap Chinese products. As wasay said, ECU chipping/branded exhaust system/air intake should be first on your list followed by pulley/cam/clutch upgrade. Search the net for 8th gen forums and you can get alot of guidance from there

Why would you want to ruin your car by going for a desi turbo kit? R18 is a high compression engine and not meant for turbo. Even if you still insist, I would never suggest going for a 'desi' option. Branded kits are expensive but more reliable with better gains

Yeah i have that problem in my civic aswell, stop raping your tranny =P The rpm doesnt drop as quick when you shift from 1st to 2nd so if you try to quickshift (powershifting kills) i think the extra power wreck the gear somehow :/ no idea, maybe you need to change your tranny oil
