Whenever I start my car in the cold morning I hear strange sound like metal or like "GRRRRGRRR" from the engine. When car heats up the sound is gone and all day it is fine. Any Idea?
These kinds of sounds are kind of so annoying if comes in new cars, and such a headache to find them coz by the time u go for its checkup the sound vanishes.Wish u best of luck for solution. Well my wild guess is its coming from its master pulley.
Facing same 'problem'. I guess its normal. Btw how long it takes your civic to heat up to normal optimal temperature?
its pretty normal thing in every car when its cold
we also have the same problem in our 8gen civc honda people said it normail when the car is cold it will make sound like that
its a normal civic sound.all sounds in civic are normal
better change ur engine oil brand... go for a thinner grade oil... 5w30 wud be gud.. this will reduce the noise.
Thank you very much you all friends for providing me quick response. For your people understanding I searched on the net and found the sound in the attached link which 100% resembles my case. KIndly advise, as I am worried.
