Yeah its slow because of hectic office routine, family commitments and not trying to fiddle much in terms of DIY (mainly because of warranty issue). Right now its kind of an information and Q&A type thread. Lets see what I have to show you guys soon. Stay tuned.

I don't think so. Lets see how those liners did in Laadli then I think I can come up with something close to this.

The senior electrician here at Atlas dealer has suggested not to do any such installation; he commented that these new car's electronics are sensitive and expensive. God forbid something happens in future or while doing such alteration the warranty guy will always put the blame on you. He said; either wait for 50k on ODO / 2 years or sell this car and get used 2009 one and do these experiments on it
the clockspring/cable reel/steering reel is responsible for transferring all electrics i.e horn, airbag ,audio, cruise controls etc from the steering and getting it out the other end.if this intelligent yet simple design wasnt there the wires wodve been tangled up/snapped while rotating.as i was connecting the audio cons,i accidentally gave it an additional turn.the turns are ltd both left and rt. So when i had to do a complete 3 point turn it snapped 4rm inside.did a DIY and got it fixed.inside is like a strip ribbon heavily greased and rolled in a particular way to allow free flow n rotation.the front part rotates with the steering whereas the rear in stationary.hope i explained its working!

as u can see that from the front of the clockspring there are two wires on top line i.e top rt,the lower has 8 pins. When they come out the other end there are 10 in a single line. Now if u go to my DIY thread on adding aux n steering cons u can understand how this works. There are grips at both ends and wires are connected. FOUAD bhai hope u get the audio cons sorted now!

as far as the snr technician is concerned he is right is saying so. Shoudnt let every other tom,DICK n harry 2 touch ur car.ill b esp careful in warranty period as the dealershiTs need a single little excuse to shed off their responsibilities n not to entertain warranties. But on the other hand visited Honda centre(rwp), Honda (mirpur),n honda gujranwala. There snr n jnr tech codnt get audio cons to work despite giving them guidance so eventually did it myself n later on the cruise

ill probably be more glad than u if it works for u! BTW for info of all the i.vtec clockspring only has two output wires thus not possible to give connections 4 audio cons.so unfortunately u'll have to change ur clockspring. Fouad bhai if routing the wires a prob, use the two airbag wires.it'll do the job 4 u as theres no airbag in ur car! Btw fouad has got an oriel cablereel to be fixed in viper.best of luck!
