    Unhappy Continuous Blinking of ''D'' (Drive) in Civic Prosmatic 2002 !!

    I am having a problem..doesnot know why...when I go on a drive on my Honda Civic Prosmatic 2002 after sometime ''D''(Drive) of Prosmatic Transmission on meter Start Blinking....Plz tell me why it Blinks Continuously ?? thnx !!

    i think u shud get the tranny oil changed.get original Honda oil ONLY! will cost u around 2000rs for 2 ltr.

    Blinking D for the transmission is same as "Check engine light" for the engine. It has its own codes. Get to any qualified electrician who'll help you out with this. As suggested the poster above, please check oil level as that might solve the problem.

    i had the same problem with my hatch...

    i took it 100s of time to get a solution... every time we would reset the ecu it would be ok...

    finally one day the car went dead. it was corrosion in the wires terminal .... it would not send the current properly

    simply visit 2 ur nearest honda dealership and scanned ur car with obd.....

    when transmission oil is sluggish and suction goes realy poor, the light starts blinking. better change the whole oil, transmission plus the diff, yes front diff dont be surprise... it is going to be altogether 3 and half liters. best oil recommended for honda transmission is from honda dealer only. dont use any other oil or get ready for costly repair. if you delay the oil change its going to hurt your picket so better be quick. i hope this helps.

    Yeah just change the transmission flude and the problem will be solved. I ll recommend original Honda flude for your car's safty.
