    Personal experience:
    About 9 lit/km in City.
    About 12 lit/km on Motorway (speed 110-120kmph).
About 10 lit/km on Motorway if speed crosses 140kmph.
    AC on for these readings.
    (P.S. 'About' = + 1 lit/km)

So, ideally speaking an M/T Oriel should be driven between 90 - 110 kmph to get max fuel economy. You'll get best possible mileage.

My prosmatec does 13 km/l with speeds from 130 to 150. Manual should do better.

And ideal speed for Civic 1.8 is 100 kph. Will give around 15.5 km/l

Manual gives me 11-11.25/lit local with a 60-40 mix of Hi-octane and super. On the motorway, 15-17/lit b/w 110-120 kms and 14-14.5 if the average speed is around 135-150kms.

To get economy out of your ride you need to switch your self to relaxed mode: steady speed light-throttle cruising.
Under such conditions, performance is the last thing on your mind (unless you want to overtake). Such conditions are also most conducive to fuel economy and consequently we expect good fuel economy from the engine as well.

May be you will surprise but the most economical speed range for R18 is between 80 to 90km/h. with RPM not exceeding 2500
