suggest me the components which should be change so that engine can hold .5 bar boost of turbo.
1bar of ct9=30hp
1bar of pte6262/pte6565/gt3582r=300-500hp
this psi thing is unpredictable and depends on the turbo used
the stock head stock block mint 6/10 condition d15/d16 can hold around 220hp with a good tune frequent oil change and rare abuse
but if abused everyday and launched on every other signal or infront of girls college sooner or later you'd be shopping for a new engine
normally the stock turbo setups we see around us run around 5-9psi and the turbos we see are t25,kkk24,t28 small sized turbos but there is no guarantee if you want to play it hard you'll have to leave all the safety aside becus my dear friend - BOOST and itbs are two things that stay in your veins and are addictive you can't resist revving a motor having ITBs and you cant get enough of the boost
either you'd run your car into another car or someone's front lawn or you'd kiss your motor goodbye - Which ever comes first
i will install turbo after 2 or 3 months. so suggest those parts which can run engine with out turbo too. n also give price idea n a good mechanic address too.
as i said there is no guarantee becuse we dont have dynos and neither do we have the proper fuel - our highoctane is just like our leaders ;p am saying this again and again so that you dont start expecting wonders from your motor - other than that it can hold a pretty decent abuse ;p i'd run 5-9psi on a t28 daily and revv the sh!!t out of it - hehe anyways lets come to the point
the more money you spend on the car the more reliable it gets
if you want 100%safety invest in the following
a metal head gasket
forged pistons forged rods with rings wrist pins arp rod bolts head bolts acl race engine rod/main bearings and thrust washers and some good darton sleeves your engine will hold more power than you can imagine you'd break turbos and your neck before you break your motor
5psi+t25 on the road and 9psi on the track and a weekend turbo car? well that wont harm your motor but its good to invest in a set of rods atleast a stock d15 can hold 12psi or more of a t25 but who knows you should atleast get a new headgasket and polish the head block piston rods and clean all the gum and varnish out of it and place a new metal head gasket
