Because this car has better ground clearance than the previous generation model, it's very easy to take it on paths and broken roads which have a lot of bumps. Plus I've also noticed that the read end of the car doesn't sag when fully loaded.
So full marks to this car. No complaints whatsoever on long drives.

Another option I discovered was that when u connect your phone via blue tooth u can also listen to music from your phone on the cars speakers. There's a small music icon on the screen page where u press the music icon and when you play music on your phone the sound comes from the speakers. And the quality ain't bad. But this works in my Samsung phone and not in my nokia phone.
The ipod connectivity worked really well. although u cant operate the music selection from your ipod, u get the name of the song on the the screen and can also change tracks using the steering.

The a/c vents, though asymmetrical give very good cool air to the rear passengers. The cooling is so good that we had to increase the temperature. Thank god honda has sorted that out, in the previous generation (especially 7th gen), no matter how to adjusted the a/c vents the rear passengers wouldn't get cool air until it was on full blast freezing the front passengers face

The remote is a nice feature. But it has it's flaws. Not all functions can be controlled by it. It would have been better if it had a mouse/joystick type function as well.

the boot mechanism is improving progressively, the one hand technique works now
we need a boot tray, any idea where they're available from? the ones available in the auto shops on main boulevard defence don't fit although it's mentioned on their covers that they are for this particular car.

The Bluetooth music works for all "compatible" phones, regardless of the manufacturer. I have personally tested it with iPhone 5, HTC Sensation xe, Samsung galaxy S3, Sony Xperia Z, and Nokia Lumia 920.
The iPod connectivity's purpose is to give control to the driver to change tracks on the iPod without having to use the actual iPod while driving
I love the radio interface though. Phone interface is also good. USB interface ain't that good though.

The middle round button is sort of a joystick but very difficult to operate accurately. Plus operating the remote should be the passengers' job - driver really can't use it while driving. Maybe that's why everything is driver oriented.
Btw, did you check out the sort of stylus pen for the screen? You might have to calibrate it a couple of times before getting accurate results. But I feel the pen is too small - not really useful. My brother's altis also has a pen for the screen. It's bigger hence easier to operate.

yes, i quite agree.. actually none of the functions need to be operated by the driver except for the controls on the steering wheel.
the stylus is useless and i had a smilar stylus for my previous imate cell phone and it made permanent marks on the screen so i'm not very fond of using it. Plus u have to press really hard for it to work, despite calibrating it. Fingers are the best

I guess Omar explained it in a perfect way.

To add - not sure if blackberry os supports the music playing in civic via Bluetooth. I have worked for RIM for a few years, so I know this much that their OS is the worst when it comes to incompatibilities. Do post here if yours works - might be useful info to someone
