    Default Project Civic 96 Restoration

    Hello All!
I have a civic 96 since last many years. With the passage of time its paint lost its shine, scratches every where due to traffic, some panels were showing primer.

After load of research.decided to repaint it with best possible materail available in Pakistan.

    Materail Used is as under.

Paint: Glasurit 55 Line.Oem Paint for major high end automotive Brands.
    Primer Filler: Glasurit 285-700
Clear Coat : Glasurit HS UV 923-109

To refinish metal parts properly, metal filer was used instead of blade for ultimate finish and to avoid steel poutene.

Car was painted in paint booth, with proper vaacum and heaters.

Sharing pics for better understanding of all enthusiasts.

    Cheers

Looks excellent so far MashaAllah, very interesting choice of colour.
Please do post more pics once the final touches, sanding, compound polish etc are completed.

To get that 'factory finish' use a 800-grit before final coat. A 1000+ grit finish will show even a minor imperfection on this deep a color.
