Salam to All member,
I am very new to Pakwheels and I am here to post a problem I am facing in my car.
I have a Honda Civic VTi 2000 Automatic. It runs on Petrol and CNG both. The problem occurs on both fuels.
When I start running the car, everything feels normal, car take good pick ( on both fuels ) and gears change from 1st to 2nd normally. But from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th, it don't change it until I slightly loose foot on accelerator, and that slight loosing make it to forward the gear from 3rd to 4th or 2nd to 3rd.
The problem occurs after I run few minutes like 10minutes, the car looses its speed, when I push hard on accelerator, RPM increases, engine make noises but car don't pick speed and runs under 40km/h. After that I have to stop the car and wait few minutes, then after car runs normal, pick seems again very good and after 10 minutes drive, it again looses speed and remains under 40km/h.
Before going to mechanic, I want to take valuable advice of PW members so I can figure it out where to go for get rid of this problem.
Some people gave me following reasons :
A person said to me that it is Radiator Problem and after 10 mins your car gets hot and not runs fast.
A person said that it is Clutch and Pressure Plate Problem . (My question is why it occurs after 10 mins drive )
A person said it is due to leaked gaskit and radiator is absorbing engine power ( My question is why it occurs after 10 mins drive )
The problem occurs on both fuels.
PW member please advice me, what it should be in actual ?
Waiting for your valuable advice before going to workshop.
Regards,
Amjad
